    The Ford Bronco is a model line of SUVs that were manufactured and marketed by Ford from 1965 to 1996. After the first generation of the Bronco was introduced as a competitor to compact SUVs (including the Jeep CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout), the succeeding four generations of the Bronco were full-size SUVs, competing against the Chevrolet K5 Blazer and Dodge Ramcharger. The first Bronco was assembled using its own chassis, while the full-size Bronco was derived from the Ford F-Series (F-100, later F-150) pickup truck; all Broncos were produced with four-wheel drive powertrains. The Ford Bronco was withdrawn from the Ford light-truck model line following declining demand for two-door SUVs. For the 1997 model year, Ford replaced the Bronco with the Ford Expedition, a four-door SUV based on the F-150 (the later Ford Excursion was based on the Ford F-250 Super Duty). From 1965 to 1996, Broncos were produced at Ford's Michigan Truck Plant in Wayne, Michigan. In 2017, Ford announced the reintroduction of the Ford Bronco as a mid-size SUV (derived from the Ford Ranger) as a 2020 model; manufacturing is to return to Michigan Assembly.

    The Ford Escape is a compact crossover vehicle sold by Ford since 2000 over three generations. Ford released the original model in 2000 for the 2001 model year—a model jointly developed and released with Mazda of Japan—who took a lead in the engineering of the two models and sold their version as the Mazda Tribute. Although the Escape and Tribute share the same underpinnings constructed from the Ford CD2 platform (based on Mazda GF underpinnings), the only panels common to the two vehicles are the roof and floor pressings. Powertrains were supplied by Mazda with respect to the base inline-four engine, with Ford providing the optional V6. At first, the twinned models were assembled by Ford in the US for North American consumption, with Mazda in Japan supplying cars for other markets. This followed a long history of Mazda-derived Fords, starting with the Ford Courier in the 1970s. Ford also sold the first generation Escape in Europe and China as the Ford Maverick, replacing the previous Nissan-sourced model. Then in 2004, for the 2005 model year, Ford's luxury Mercury division released a rebadged version called the Mercury Mariner, sold mainly in North America.

    The current generation of the Ford Ranger (codenamed T6) is a range of midsize pickup trucks that is manufactured and sold by Ford Motor Company worldwide. Designed and engineered by Ford of Australia, the Ranger T6 consolidates previous versions of the Ford Ranger sold worldwide, including the Ford Ranger designed and sold in the Americas and the Mazda-derived Ford Ranger sold in Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions. First unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney in October 2010, the Ranger T6 has been produced since the summer of 2011. Initially excluded from North American sale, the Ford Ranger T6 has been released for sale in the United States and Canada for the 2019 model year. As with the previous Ford Ranger, the mid-size truck is slotted below the Ford F-150 in the Ford truck range. The Ranger T6 forms the basis for several sport-utility vehicles, including the Ford Everest mid-size sport-utility vehicle, the Troller T4 off-road vehicle, and the forthcoming Ford Bronco. Mazda markets a badge-engineered version of the Ranger as the second generation of the Mazda BT-50 pickup truck.
