    A Lone Star branded automobile at Dick's Classic Car Garage Museum. The Lone Star was made by the Lone Star Motor Truck and Tractor Association, San Antonio, Texas, from 1920 to 1922. It was available as a 4-30 or 6-40, both utilizing Lycoming power units. Both open and closed models were listed for sale. The cars were manufactured for Lone Star by Piedmont of Lynchburg, Virginia. Advertisements listed the 4-30 model for sale at $1545, about three times the cost of a Ford or Chevrolet of the same time period.
