    The Miami Hurricanes football team represents the University of Miami in the sport of American football. The Hurricanes compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The program began in 1926 and has won five AP national championships (1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001). The Miami Hurricanes are among the most storied and decorated football programs in NCAA history. Miami is ranked fourth on the list of All-time Associated Press National Poll Championships, tied with Southern California and Ohio State and behind Alabama, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Miami also holds a number of NFL Draft records, including most first-round selections in a single draft and most consecutive drafts with at least one first-round selection. Two Hurricanes have won the Heisman Trophy and nine have been inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame. The team plays its home games at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Hurricanes' head coach is currently Manny Diaz.

    Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is a private nonprofit university, with a main campus located on 315 acres in Davie, in the US state of Florida. Formerly referred to as "Nova" and now commonly called "NSU", the university currently consists of 18 colleges and schools offering over 150 programs of study. The university offers professional degrees in the social sciences, law, business, osteopathic medicine, allopathic medicine, allied health, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, education, occupational therapy, and nursing. Nova Southeastern enrolled 20,793 students in the 2017-2018 academic year, and has produced 185,000 alumni. The university was founded as the Nova University of Advanced Technology on a former Naval Outlying Landing Field built during World War II, and first offered graduate degrees in the physical and social sciences. In 1994, the university merged with the Southeastern University of the Health Sciences and assumed its current name. NSU is classified as a high research and community engaged university by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

    Hoyt Hall is located on the western campus of Miami University in Oxford, OH. Currently Hoyt houses the Career Planning and Placement Office and IT Services. Originally built and used as a library for the Western College for Women, replacing Alumnae Hall. It was converted into a hall in 1981, when Miami Trustees deemed it Hoyt Hall and the office for Career Services.
